1. Makkal Thondar Manikanar,
Popularly Known as Makkal Thondar Manikanar, was a Major Philanthropist, Poprietor-Editor of Urimai Murasu Weekly magazine, Founder of Mukkulathor School, Tamilnadu Manavar Illam, Parimanam Primary School and General secretary of Mukkulathor Sangam.
Early Days
N.P. Manicham Errthaandaar was born in 1917 at Errthandar Patti, also known as Natarajapuram, a Small Village in Trichirapalli District, Tamilnadu, to Parimanam Errthandar and Unnamalai Ammal in a Kallar Landlord Family.
For his higher secondary education he joined in ER Higher Secondary School, those days there were only Brahmin students studying in ER school, some of his Collogues (From Brahmin Society) have asked him why he has to study while he has more wealth and vast agricultural land. Manichanar was upset because of there behavior, This discriminatory attitude made him moved to Government Higher Secondary school Lalgudi, and Become Close Friend to Anbil P. Dharmalingam, during school days itself he provided food for the poors, then he and Anbil P. Dharmalingam have Started Kallar Hostel (Kallar Manavar Viduthi) in Lalgudi for Poors, Mr. Chandrahassan I.A.S, Former Leader- Raja Rajan Kalvi Panbattu Kalagam (Official organization for Kallars) was also staying in that Hostel.
Social Welfare
Before Independence there were less no of schools in south Tamilnadu, poor children don’t have access to their basic education and health facilities. In 1945 Manichanar, Founded Mukkulathor School in Thiruverumbur, Trichirapalli with the help of his Friends and Relations for the children of the poors. a mentionable person donated for that School is Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan.
He was the Founder-Editor, Publisher of Urimai Murasu, a weekly Magazine for the Welfare of Backward classes, their Education and social Status. Manichanar Founded Tamilnadu Manavar Illam in 1954 in Kailasapuram, Trichirapalli, a hostel for orphans who either lost their father or both the parents are provided free education, food and accommodation.
Mukkulathor Sangam
He Joined with Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar, P. K. Mookayya Thevar, Andiappa thevar and Served as a General Secretary of Mukkulathor Sangam. Manichanar Participate and Led nationwide campaigns for expanding initiatives against untouchability Brothers to participate in Golden Jubilee function of Mukkulathor sangam. To portray him Mukkulathor Sangam given him a title Mukkula Vendar.
(Of Dalits), ignorance and poverty, he exhorted backward class and Scheduled Caste peoples for Self Respect. He is the person who Made Pudhukottai Kaduvetiyar to serve for his society and Vandayar
Later Life and Death
Till death he continued serve for his Society, poors, orphans, and for the upliftment of backward and Scheduled Castes. Manichanar Died on 24th October 1987 in Thiruverumbur, Trichirapalli.
His mortal remains are buried in Tamilnadu Manavar Illam.
2. Sithambaram Rasakandiyar Durairajah
Very popularly was known in Ceylon as the Kathirgama Kandiyar and VSDR Kandiyar born on the 5th August 1905 to Vadamalai Sithambaram Kandiyar and Anjalai Ammal. The first to establish the Kallar Maga Sabai in 1942 at Kandy in Ceylon. He was the President elect from 1942 to till his death on 24th December 1970. According to available information the Membership of the Kallar Maga Sabai crossed 13000 in 1969. It was recorded in the Annual General Meeting of the Kallar Maga Sabai on the 14th September 1969 that the Kallar Maga Sabai should expand its activities to other regions of Ceylon to increase its member ship to 15000 by September 1970. Many of the Members of the Organization were Estate Owners or holding high positions in various Private sector establishments and Government Departments in Ceylon. Unfortunately the communal violence which took place in 1970 in Ceylon totally paralyzed the Kallar Maga Sabai and it came to a stand still after the death of its founder member in December 1970.

Owner of Tennapittiya Estate. Malpana.
4. Gopala Rajapiriyar – Life Member for more than 28 years.
Owner of Coshina Estate. Ampitiya. Kandy
5. P.Karuppiah Kalingarayar – Life member for more than 26 years.
Owner of Aluvihara Estate Matale.
6. V. Rathinam Kilamudaiyar. Life member for More than 25 Years
Owner of Granlee Estate. Lindulla.
7. A Narayanasamy Thanjirayar. Life member for more than 25 Years.
Owner of Hunthana Estate. Uduwela. Kandy.

Mr.Durairajah Kandiyar was responsible for the establishment of the First Cooperative Society in Malpana in Ceylon and registered himself as the 1st Member in the Society.
Built and Established the Rajawella Methodist Mission School in Pallekella Village which became the High school in the area after 20 Years and now fully controlled by the Government of Sri Lanka with a student population of more than 2000. Elected as the President of the Parent Teachers Association for more than 35 Years. Build a Mariamman Temple in his Village (Malpana) and the First Buddhist Temple (Known as Pansala) in his village.
Elected as the Managing Trustee for the Pilliyar Kovil at Kandy and held the Position till his death. Elected as the Managing Trustee for the Kathirgamam Devanai Amman Temple, Selva Vinayagar Temple, Sella Kathirgamam Temple, Santhana Malai and Valli Malai temple etc, the positions which he held till his death. Donated lands of more than 1500 Acres for the colonization scheme of the Govt. of Ceylon for the land less poor people. Build and maintained more than 20 Wells and 11 Ambalams for travelers to rest and proceed in various Villages near to his home town.
After his death on 21st December 1970 the family shifted to various parts of the world and few living now in India.
3. A. Veeriya Vandayar
Rao Bahadur Sri. A. Veeriya Vandayar, popularly known as Poondi Vandayar, was a Pilanthropist, Founder of Sri Pushpam College- Poondi and Long-standing Leader for Kallar Mahajana Sangam.
Early Life.
Veeriya Vandayar was born in 1899 at Poondi in Tanjure District, Tamilnadu. In the Royal Family of Poondi.
Social Welfare
Vandayar Founded Sri Pushpam College in 1956, at that time there were no College for technical education in Tanjure, except Kudanthai Arasu Kalluri, he started college for the upliftment of economically backward people, Late Rao Bahadur Sri. A. Veeriya Vandayar after visiting European countries established the college with a vision of new ideas. The institution is named after the family deity Sri Pushpa Vaneswara. This college named after him is a fitting tribute paid to the beacon light to shatter the ignorance of the rural mass. The entire family members are serving the society in this area for the upliftment of economically backward people.

He was the Long-standing Leader for Kallar Mahajana Sangam until it was merged into Mukkulathor Sangam, he led nationwide campaigns for upliftment of his society and economically backward people.
Death
Till death he served for economically backward people, his Society and poors, he died on 1970 in Poondi, Tanjure.
